Holiday brew
Looking at the calendar, I notice that I better start thinking about getting another brew started if I am going to make it in time for Thanksgiving. I have never tried one, nor have I heard of commerical example of Pumpkin Ale, but I hear from people on homebrewtalk.com ( and from my co-worker Ron) that Pumpkin Ale is quite tasty and worth trying. I hope that I can find an extract or all-grain recipe. If my search proves to be fruitless, I think that I will settle for a nice heavy stout, something big enough that I won’t mind the cold weather. If anyone knows of a good pumpkin ale recipe, please let me know!
