I am a better brewer than plumber
I have decided that it is time to make my first step into the world of all grain brewing, but it looks like I need to make yet another trip to Lowe’s before my new Mashtun assembly will be ready to go. The new assembly will be built according to the template perscribed in Palmer’s How to Brew, and when it is ready, my assembly will consist of a stainless-steel braided hose filter and an all-brass bulkhead. The SS braid will be connected to the bulkhead through a length of 1/2” clear vinyl tubing.
What to I have let to do? I still need to find some appropriately sized washers and I need to pickup a larger compresion T junction for my braided hose assembly. Getting this all ready has been a pain, I certainly am looking for brew day when I can put it to use.
