Frozen Oak Brown Ale: This green beer might have to wait for St. Pat’s – 3/1/07
I admit it. I was far to eager to try a taste of my first all-grain batch and I pop one open already. This beer was too “green” to even finish. Other than the slightest hiss when I pried off the cap, it not carbonated at all. The beer feels a little light in the mouth due to the non-carbonation. Furthermore, the beer also it has a pretty bitter kick to it that I expect will balance over time. All in all, this beer needs some time; I think that I am going to wait until St. Patty’s day to starting drinking this stuff.
